Training Overview
Microsoft Excel, if used correctly, can be an exceptionally robust tool when striving for success in the workplace. The software allows the user to import, organise, explore and analyse data sets both big and small. Excel has been, and continues to be, a staple of the workplace.
Yet, when faced with the vast amount of options and tools available to them in the software, it is completely understandable why a new or untrained user may feel overwhelmed.
This Priority Learning and Development workshop will give the trainee the skills and confidence they need to find success with Microsoft Excel.

- Two 3-hour sessions
Outcomes
On completion of this training, you should be able to:
- Enter, edit, and format data to create workbooks
- Enter data using time-saving tools like Flash Fill and Autocomplete
- Use functions and formulas to calculate data
- Understand Relative and Absolute Cell References
- Format worksheets and cells
- Manage larger workbooks
- Print workbooks
- Customize the interface by changing ribbon display options and customizing the Quick Access Toolbar
Intended Audience
This course is for individuals who are new to Microsoft Excel 2013/ 2016 and want to gain confidence navigating the interface, using functions and formulas to calculate data, and formatting their data in order to present it clearly.
